About Me

I’m a registered social worker, positive psychology practitioner, behaviour change specialist and integrative therapist with over 30 years of experience working with people, systems and communities to create lasting, human-centred change.

I work with innovators, public sector leaders and product or site developers who are serious about doing things differently whether it’s designing services that actually work for people, building psychologically safe teams, navigating complexity after trauma or embedding social and emotional intelligence into policy, practice or product.

My approach is rooted in trauma-informed, person-centred and humanistic thinking but I’m also practical. I’m brought in to ask better questions, listen deeply, challenge with care and help people move forward with clarity and confidence. I’ve worked on strategic planning, team transformation, social research, product design and community engagement projects in the UK and internationally Australia, New Zealand, the US and across Europe.

I’ve collaborated with academics, public health teams, creatives in music and film/TV and social entrepreneurs. I’ve opened a high-street happiness pop-up, run conversational salons and supper clubs and co-lead the RSA Mindful Living Network, working on cultural and behavioural shifts that support a fairer, more connected world.

Clients bring me in when people, purpose and systems need to align when the work requires nuance, emotional intelligence and fresh thinking.

I live between London and Wirksworth, and when I’m not working, I’m likely running (slowly), hiking, keeping bees or at the movies.
