Work with me

I’m interested in the ways people shape places and how places shape people. My work is rooted in supporting individuals, groups, and communities to flourish, especially in contexts where connection, trust, and collaboration need rebuilding or reimagining.

With a background in social work, applied positive psychology, and cultural humility practice, I bring a people-first, systems-aware perspective to any environment whether that’s an organisation, a team, or a neighbourhood. My experience spans strategic planning, project development, facilitation and coaching, and I’ve worked across public, third sector and community-led initiatives for over 30 years.

I’m now extending this experience into the built environment working alongside those involved in placemaking, public realm and urban design to support more psychologically safe, inclusive, and meaningful engagement with the communities they serve.

I’m especially interested in:

  • Helping design teams think more deeply about connection, belonging and wellbeing
  • Supporting socially engaged and trauma aware approaches to consultation and engagement
  • Bridging the gap between social impact thinking and on-the-ground realities
  • Creating conditions where people can work well together and enjoy doing so

Whether I’m running a workshop, listening 1-2-1, or contributing to long-term planning, I care deeply about the human experience of change. My approach is curious, collaborative, and quietly disruptive with a strong focus on reducing harm and increasing good.
